Order Processing

Your journey with Recollection Spirits begins as soon as you place your order. We carefully prepare each package and typically dispatch orders within 2–3 business days, and no later than 7 business days.

You’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking details once your spirits are on their way.

Shipping Terms

• You must select a shipping option at checkout; the cost will be shown before payment.
• We currently ship Australia-wide except South Australia and the Northern Territory, due to licensing restrictions.
• Estimated delivery timeframes:
  • Metropolitan areas: 2–7 business days
  • Regional or remote areas: May require additional time
• All timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on your location.

Shipping Costs

• Orders over $180: Complimentary shipping Australia-wide (where available)
• Orders under $180: Shipping cost displayed at checkout.

Important Delivery Information

• Valid photo ID may be requested upon delivery
• We cannot deliver to PO Boxes
• Please ensure your delivery address is correct as we cannot take responsibility for packages delivered to incorrect addresses
• For deliveries to secure buildings or gated complexes, the recipient must arrange access.

Delivery Issues & Redelivery

• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
• Recollection Spirits is not liable for delays caused by couriers or unforeseen circumstances
• If a delivery fails and the package is returned to us, redelivery charges will apply
• Delivery times may be extended during peak periods or public holidays
• We reserve the right to limit quantities based on stock availability.

AGE VERIFICATION

You must confirm that you are 18 years or older when placing an order, as required by Australian law. It is illegal to sell or supply alcohol to a minor.

We reserve the right to request valid photo ID upon delivery. Orders will not be delivered to anyone who appears intoxicated.

Gift Orders

When placing a gift order, you must confirm that both you and the recipient are over 18. Please ensure you provide the recipient’s full name and delivery address. The recipient will be required to present a valid photo ID at the time of delivery.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

We curate each bottle with care, but if something’s not quite right, here’s how we can help:

Store Credit & Exchanges

• Notify us within 7 days of receiving your order
• Products must be unopened, unused, and in original condition
• Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer
• Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit
• Once we receive the returned goods, we’ll issue store credit or arrange an exchange
• Store credit is valid for 12 months from issue date.

Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged:

• Contact us within 3 days of delivery
• Provide photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging
• We’ll arrange a replacement or issue store credit at no cost to you
• Claims submitted after 3 days may not be eligible, but we’ll always do our best to assist.

Additional Return Conditions

• All returns must be approved by our team before being shipped
• We do not offer cash refunds
• Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed
• Products purchased during promotions follow the same return policy
• Limited edition or high-value items may have specific return requirements
• We may request additional verification for high-value orders
• Minor cosmetic markings or scuffing on labels due to transit are not valid reasons for return.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

We make every effort to fulfil your order on time. However, Recollection Spirits cannot be held responsible for delays due to:

• Severe weather events or natural disasters
• Regulatory changes affecting alcohol distribution
• Courier or supply chain disruptions
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

In such cases, we’ll communicate with you promptly and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
