Timeless Summer is our tribute to nalyvka, the Ukrainian tradition of fruit liqueur.

We infuse whole sour cherries slowly, until the colour turns deep ruby and the flavour comes fully alive. Real fruit, never flavouring. The result is bright, juicy and properly tart, with a finish that lingers.

Sip it neat, over ice, or as the star of a spritz. Long summer afternoons and good company optional, but recommended.

A Note from the Distillers

Growing up in Ukraine, nalyvka was simply part of life. Almost every family had someone making it, a grandparent in the cellar, an aunt in the pantry, jars of fruit quietly steeping through summer. For us, it's a familiar sight tied to long days, stained fingers from sour cherries and the hum of family gatherings.

This Sour Cherry Nalyvka is deeply personal. It's a way of carrying those memories forward. The cool cellar air and the quiet pride that came with a well-made batch, without overcomplicating something that was always straightforward.

Made with real sour cherries and slowly infused, it develops its natural bright ruby colour and a flavour that is gently sweet upfront, followed by a clean, lively tartness and a soft hint of vanilla.

Rooted in Ukrainian hospitality and recipes passed down without fuss, this isn't about reinvention. It's about keeping tradition alive.

Food & Occasions

Food Pairing

  • Dark Chocolate Desserts Cherry and chocolate were always going to get along. The tartness cuts through a rich mousse, brownie or torte and stops it feeling heavy.
  • Duck and Game There's a reason cherry sauce and duck are a classic. Pour a glass alongside and let it do the same job from the other direction.
  • Cherry Desserts Clafoutis, pavlova, cherry pie. Cherry in the glass, cherry on the plate, no notes.
  • Charcuterie & Pâté The sweet-tart edge cuts through rich, fatty meats. Especially good with a duck pâté or a country terrine.
  • Almond Biscotti The soft vanilla note picks up the almond. Dunk the biscotti in espresso, sip the nalyvka, lose an afternoon.

Perfect For

  • An aperitif Serve chilled in small glasses to open up appetites before dinner. Smart enough to feel like an occasion, easy enough to put everyone at ease.
  • A garden gathering Build it into a spritz and watch the jug empty. Light, bright and made for a warm evening outdoors.
  • A gift Most people have never tried nalyvka, which makes this an easy way to give someone something genuinely new. The story does the wrapping.
  • A nightcap Pour 30ml over ice and take your time. A civilised way to end the evening, or an uncivilised one. Your call.
